Aidan Leclaire
Born at the musical crossroads of America's North and South and raised in a multicultural environment, my music is defined by the multi-genre sounds that surrounded me at an early age. As a singer-songwriter, I refuse to be tied down to a single genre; I rather be the wild card in the deck of musical creativity, experimenting with different sounds and styles. From Arctic Monkeys to John Coltrane and Jackson C. Frank, my influences are a tapestry of creative artists who vividly paint a visual story. A penchant for wordplay accompanying soulful and melodic tunes is at the heart of my sound, drawing inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Issac Brock, and Alex Turner. My acting experience in front of the camera and on the stage, including my recent run as famed artist Pablo Picasso in Puccini's opera La Boheme at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., helped me continue to fine-tune my stage presence.
I started this musical journey at 17, playing at clubs around the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland areas and dropping my debut LP, “Day Dreamin'” in Spring 2023. You can access my music via Spotify, Soundcloud, Band Camp, and Apple Music. Stay tuned because I've got more music and videos ready to drop! Catch the groove on my Instagram for updates. Cheers, and let's keep the musical journey alive!
